Clover - Knuckle Ring Thimble

This Clover Ring Thimble (指ぬき) is useful for hand sewing that involves using shorter needles. While the needle is held by the index finger and thumb, the thimble resting between the knuckles of your middle finger helps push the needle through fabric. This ring thimble is adjustable to fit most hands. This thimble is a shiny plated brass material. The samples in the last two photos are of an "antiqued", un-plated thimble by a different company that is very similar. I use it with a regular sewing needle to sew the binding on my quilts!
