World Rhythm Club - Family Workshop
World Rhythm Club Led by Esi Poole World Rhythm Club is a joyful, hands-on music class for kids rooted in West African drum language, polyrhythms, traditional songs, and kora. Children learn by playing together, listening, and moving as a group—using rhythm as a shared language. This class supports cultural enrichment, creativity, and connection, while building musical and social skills in a fun, age-appropriate way. Kids will explore: West African drumming & polyrhythms Playing rhythm together as a group Traditional songs, movement, and call-and-response Introduction to the kora (West African harp) Benefits include: Supports brain development & neuroplasticity Builds emotional regulation and focus Encourages socialization, teamwork, and communication Strengthens community bonding and confidence A great fit for kids who love music, movement, and learning through rhythm and play. 8 Week Workshop: Covers 1 Adult + 1 Child
