Known literally as red soil aloeswood, the outer color of the un-processed aloeswood takes on the reddish brown color of the soil. Red soil aloeswood is very rare and expensive, as its aroma is richer and more intense than ordinary Nha Trang aloeswood. Handmade by the same highly respected, second generation Chinese incense craftsman as our Nha Trang Aloeswood, these sticks feature a blend of the two woods, as Red Soil agarwood powder by itself is not easily flammable due to its very high oil content. The distinct aloeswood smell of these incense sticks has such strength that it fills the room almost immediately – warm and complex like the Nha Trang, but unmistakably more focused, with less sweetness and vanilla in its cool
