Wildcrafted Cliff Rose Perfume Oil

A limited edition infused floral perfume oil handmade using cliff rose blossoms wild foraged in Sedona, Arizona. The blossoms are harvested just as they bloom, while the pollen is still fresh and will create the most fragrant maceration. Thousands of tiny petals and the pollen are then removed painstakingly by hand from the calyxes and steeped slowly in pure desert jojoba oil until the oil is richly infused with the subtle essence of the flower. No heat is applied to quicken the process, it is only with time that you can achieve the true profile of the living plant. Flowers in the arid southwest need sufficient water to bloom and it can take years, even decades, to get a significant enough bloom to make a few ounces of precious perfume oil.
