The selection process begins with something that catches my eye.  I generally go on the hunt with an open mind as to what I will find.  I then hold it up to my neck, my stomach, my wrist or my hand to see what I can do with it.  I probably look a little crazy.  Ok, maybe a lot crazy… Once I get them back to my studio, I decide what they really will become.  The direction of the stone.  What type of cord, chain, leather, or recycled material will be used with it.
