KA Custom Mega Butcher

 A true proportional scale increase of the original KA Butcher design, the Mega Butcher is an absolute beast! 8" OAL when open, and closed it is 4 3/4" in length while standing almost 2 1/2" tall!  - This full custom, hand-built example was constructed as a framelock out of 6al4 titanium. The frame is finished in a contoured and forward "stepped" profile, in the same manner that inspired the construction of the Spyderco Stovepipe model. The rounded profile of the tail sits comfortably in the hand, while the forward flat adds a traction point for gripping while also giving the impression of a bolstered build style. The titanium finish is a hand-applied Satin Orange Peel that is done using a wire wheel, producing both a long-lasting and beautiful finish.  - Most striking is probably the "tv" squared-off opening hole in the blade.
