KA Custom One-Off fixed blade - punch knife

Always inspired by the movies Dave grew up watching with this father, this punch knife is a KA interpretation or reimagining of the punch knife Sgt. Barnes would have carried in Platoon. Dave's own father was in Nam in 68' and 69', so it isn't a stretch to fall into the flak jacket mindset of this design intention. - Built as a one-off, this fixed blade is a double hollow dagger ground made from cpm154. Designed to be held comfortably protruding through the knuckles "punch style", it was also intended to have much more utility than just that. A slight change of the grip, and you are choked up for detailed cutting chores... extending the true use envelope of this piece. - The contoured scales are affixed with a titanium bolt and hidden brass pin, and given a glass bead finish to raise the material's grain for more traction. Currently filming, these scales were part of a "Kingdom Class" episode, as Dave taught how to fabricate custom G10 scales. - Taco-style sheath is made from Boltral
