From Dave's personal collection Located and shipped not far from where Dave's family is originally from in Linköping, Sweden. This hatchet is immediately recognizable in its Scandinavian design. Early part of the 1900's manufactured, forged with a high-carbon cutting edge laminated in. It arrived unmarked, as to who the original maker was is anyone's guess.  Drawn to this hatchet like a moth to a flame, it became part of the personal collection while attempts were made to source methods to reproduce and make this design available in a production format. Hopes of 3D-scanning, with CAD renderings and laser sintering construction in small batches proved not only a mouthful to say, but offered head shaking and cost prohibitive quotes for production. Yes, the technology exists to do all that, which essentially laser prints a heat treatable exact replica of an axe head, then fitted with a duplicate wooden handle. But are you willing to pay $1000 per for a tool we'd like you to use and leav
