Our Hammered Silk Satin comes from Eastern Silk, one of the only silk mills in the United States. A light-weight, soft fabric, Hammered Silk Satin has both a shiny, satin side and a matte side that resembles a silk version of seersucker. We can use either, though we prefer the satin side for smaller pieces, like a tank, and the matte side for larger pieces, like our shirtdress. At 100% silk, this fabric lacks stretch. Hammered Silk Satin is great all year round and super comfortable to boot. Composition 100% Silk Care Information Dry clean only.
