Los Santos Diez Pueblos: A Coffee with Deep Roots Nestled in the stunning, mountainous region of central-southern Costa Rica, Los Santos spans the cantons of Dota, León Cortés Castro, and Tarrazú—the latter being Costa Rica’s most celebrated coffee-growing area. In 2019, Tarrazú earned a Denomination of Origin (DOE) certification, similar to Champagne in France. While many mountains in the region have historically been considered part of Tarrazú, this designation now defines a smaller, legally recognized area. A New Name, Same Legacy Formerly known as Tarrazú Don Roberto, our Los Santos Diez Pueblos reflects this change while honoring the same land, same climate, and same dedicated smallholder producers that have always made this coffee exceptional.
