Roseate spoonbills are common in coastal areas of Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. A member of the ibis family, they feed on shrimp, insects, and small fish. They are listed as a Threatened species.  This piece is made with a teardrop-shaped pink mangano calcite stone, mined in Peru. It is a stone associated with self-esteem, confidence, and compassion toward others. It measures about 2.5 inches and comes on an 18-inch antiqued copper chain with a 2-inch extender. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.  All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.
