Rosy Duiker

If this pink duiker isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, you might want to keep scrolling. Dyed a vibrant shade of pink and embellished with rose embroidery, this little antelope is truly living her best (after)life. Duikers are small, shy antelopes native to central and western Africa, in countries like Cameroon and the surrounding rainforest regions. There are many species of duikers, but they’re typically fruit- and seed-eating forest dwellers. Both males and females have horns, though the ladies are usually a bit larger. This shoulder mount was originally a damaged antique, and has been lovingly repaired, restored, and reimagined. Her total length is about 14 inches.
