Rose Hair Tarantula

A real, framed "rose hair" tarantula, kept as a pet and collected after her natural death. The term "rose hair" is in quotations because this is not a true rose hair tarantula. Her species is actually a Honduran curly hair tarantula, generally known as a docile species of tarantula named for their long, soft hairs.  Her color was originally dark brown with pale yellow and beige hairs, and has been carefully dyed with a variety of bright pinks, fuschia, and magenta. She has been set with a variety of dried florals on a rose-colored background. The total frame measures about 13x9.5 inches, and sits about 2 inches from the wall. The front cover of this frame is made of plastic, attached to a rectangular shadowbox with a glass front. It can stand perfectly well on its own on a shelf, or can be displayed on a wall.
