These plates are handmade from iron red earthenware clay. Each piece is unique and different in some way, as all pieces are handmade. A note about seconds - Not every piece turns out perfectly the first time — and that’s part of the handmade process. Our seconds are fully functional wares offered at a discounted price due to small cosmetic flaws, slight irregularities, or overproduction. These unique pieces still meet our high standards for durability and usability; they just carry a bit more character.
