Mun Ebony Scales (Natural) - MN21

Diospyros Mun - or Mun Ebony is a beautiful, true ebony.  It is widely beloved for its wonderful figure and striking stripes of color.  The heartwood often exhibits beautiful orange hues, while the rest of the wood shows dark lines of demarcation surrounded by creamy sapwood. This particular set is pure heartwood.VERY hard to dry properly (takes years), with lots of loss to checking.  Once dried, Mun Ebony is one of the most stable species of ebony.  This set is dry and ready to go! Oversized! Scales measure 6.5" x 1.5" x .40" and are sold as a set.
