Hand Quilting - January 31, 12:30-3:30pm

Learn how to hand quilt, a process that has been enjoyed for hundreds of years. This is a great way to slow down the process and add extra texture and character to your quilt. Learn everything about proper preparation to picking a design and perfecting the stitch. Whether you are interested in learning tiny even stitches or want to opt for a big stitch look, this class will give you tips and tricks to get there. Class Difficulty Rating: 1 Materials Needed for Class: Needle (Embroidery for thicker thread or Quilting Between for traditional thread ) Thread (any type: regular sewing thread, quilting thread, perle cotton, etc. as long as it is Perle size 12 or smaller) Scissors Quilt or quilt sandwich that is already basted (top/batting/backing) Thread conditioner (optional) Thimble of choice (optional) Quilting hoop/frame (optional) Instructor: Colby Cartledge
