Log Cabin Sweater Pattern
Inspired by the traditional quilting technique, the Log Cabin Sweater is a modular, drop shoulder sweater created by building blocks of knitted fabric off of previous blocks. The front of the sweater is worked from the center out and is based on a log cabin design, whereas the back involves working back and forth from the bottom up, joining with the sides of the front as you go. Sleeves are worked in the round with simple striping and a tapered shape, and an I-cord is worked along the neckline, body edge, and sleeve cuffs.
