Malabrigo Rios Zodiac

This collection was designed by Flor, who is part of the Malabrigo design team, and it was born of two of her major interests: tarot cards and astrology. Her idea was to make twelve colors, each corresponding to one of the twelve signs of the zodiac. With this in mind, she created a mood board for each sign, using concepts or key aspects of the personalities popularly attributed to people born under each sign. Then, a color palette was selected based on those to transfer it into skeins. As an example, Pisceans are known for having a fanciful personality so she decided to add some colors typically associated with fantasies such as light blue, purple, and pink typically associated with fantasies and mythical creatures. Next, she added a deep green hue, relating these fantasies with the sea as well, since Piscis is a water sign.  She used the same process with all twelve colors.
