I have seen so many rainbows out there on the Internet that don’t use traditional rainbow colors, and I just think they are so beautiful. Use a Knitty McPurly Sock Kit or even scraps of your favorite sock yarn from your stash! In this pattern, directions are given for an afterthought heel to get the perfect heel placement. You will knit the sock as a tube with a toe, and then go back and place the heel at the end. A detailed photo tutorial and video links are provided.
