This is designed as a knife for trimming and shaping horse hooves, but it would also make a good hook knife for wood carving.  The flared pommel really helps in keeping a firm grip while working.  There is no sheath, just a small plastic enveope for the blade.  This version is specifically designed for left-handed use.
