The Hosodo is hand forged by our blacksmith in Guinea, West Africa, using traditional methods. They can be used for: Finish-carving the interior of the bowl and stem Removing excess wood from overly thick and heavy drums (post production)  Carving out-of-round drums into round (post production)  Carving spirals into bowl and stem interiors
