Itak / Pinuti - KIL Aluminum Trainer
The Itak (or Pinuti, or Jungle Bolo) was the blade of choice during the Philippine Revolution. Originally used for agricultural chopping, this Filipino tool was easily modified into a weapon for wartime. The design for our KIL Itak Aluminum Trainer is based on blades from the Bohol region of the Philippines. The handles of our KIL Aluminum Trainers are wrapped with a black, heavy-duty, 3/16" utility cord for a thick, secure grip. Our Itak / Pinuti - KIL Aluminum Trainer is available in 2 lengths: Long (~26"), and Short (~22").
