Belgian Jigsaw Seyntex Waterproof Jacket
The Belgian Jigsaw Waterproof jacket was built by Seyntex with tropical downpours in mind, although it can brave snow and ice very well — featuring a similar waterproof membrane we have come to know and love from our Austrian cousins and their waterproof parka. Belgian Jigsaw has a much tamer history than the rest of Belgium, originally developed in 1956, the pattern consists of rusty earth, "Bottle" green and khaki green elements amidst smaller, black and white shapes. Originally intended for use in Europe it also worked suspiciously well in the Congo. There were 4 generations of "Jigsaw" issued over it's 66 year reign, with minor pattern changes and improvements in fabrics, with the final jigsaw pattern seeing the removal of the bits of white prevalent in previous patterns. With its two large zippered front pockets, your Belgium chocolate is guaranteed to stay dry, and the adjustable hood, cuffs and hem will keep the jacket fitted to you, and any kit underneath.
