Bundeswehr Schneetarn Overwhite Suit

Dating all the way back to the 60s, "Schneetarn" (Literally snow camouflage) is designed specifically to be used in very snowy terrain. The added "pine needle" splotches break up the white backdrop allowing for concealment in the likely scenario that the wintery wonderland you're hiding in isn't 100% snow-covered. It's surprisingly simple for the Germans, but it works wonders. Featured here on "overwhites", the idea is that soldiers can throw these garments over the top of all the rest of their gear, so a full additional set of winter-camo-colored kit isn't needed.
