pH Minus lowers the pH and prevents scaling. The pH should be between 7.2-7.8 ppm; 7.4 is the ideal pH rating to keep water clean and clear. For best results:*Dissolve granular product first into a small container of hot water, and then apply the solution to the spa water. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of this product for every 500 gallons of spa water*Turn on ciculation system for 30 minutes. After 6-8 hours, retest water and add more decreaser if levels are still high.  **Please refer to the precautionary statements and hazards on the back of the bottle**
