Farewell Kuro DVD
Based on a true story, Sayonara Kuro (a.k.a. Farewell Kuro) is the tale of Kuro, a small black dog who once lived in a high school in the Nagano Prefecture during the 1960s. At that time, Kuro first encountered Ryoke (Tsumabuki Satoshi) in front of the high school, and from there Ryoke became Kuro's owner, and the two began a heartwarming friendship that would span years. Eventually Kuro has to leave this world, but the impact this small black dog has on Ryoke's life is indelible and irretrievably precious. A film full of evocative emotions and bittersweet memories, Sayonara Kuro was a sizable hit in Japan during the summer of 2003, and is a timeless tale that can be enjoyed by just about anyone with a heart!
