Fuel pumps can fail for many reasons — electrical issues, wear, contamination — but one common mechanical failure point on off-road and modified vehicles comes from stress and flex within the plastic fuel pump mounting assembly itself. The KrashFab Fuel Pump Fix was developed after repeated real-world trail failures, including breakdowns during long-distance off-road expeditions, where the factory plastic top plate and internal support rails were unable to handle the forces introduced by aggressive wheeling and fuel tank relocations.
