Hand water-colored copperplate etching Image size 5 1/2 x 7 1983 I had just finished reading Sylvia Plath's book, The Bell Jar. The etching was inspired by a photo I had saved out of a National Geographic magazine that pictured a woman studying flies under a bell jar. Edition # 16 of Edition 60 Printed on cream colored paper.
