Impermanance
Impermanance is a 24x36" original acrylic painting on 1.5" deep gallery wrapped canvas. Watermark will not appear on the original artwork. You felt the land taking you back to what was there a hundred years ago, to what had been there always." — V.S. Naipaul This piece is a meditation on aging, mortality, decay, and the unending cycles of nature. In creating this painting, I aimed to capture the tranquility, beauty and grace, inherent in the natural progression of aging, death, and decay—a journey shared by all living beings. The figure of a woman, seamlessly returning to the natural world, embodies the theme of impermanence. Her closed eyes suggest the imminence of death, while her serene smile reveals her peaceful acceptance of this journey.
