Heading Out to Get the Mail

This is one of 100 paintings I did while participating in The 100 Day Project from February to May, 2024. The painting is based on a photo I took while on my daily walk in the Mojave Desert where I live. This one is called Heading Out to Get the Mail because we live in a remote location and our mailbox is a half mile from our house. I saw this scene on my way to get the mail. This is an original 6 3/4 x 4 3/4" painting done in oils on unstretched canvas with a 3/4" border.
