Betadine(R) Surgical Scrub Veterinary 7.5% Antiseptic Sudsing Skin Cleanser Betadine(R) Surgical Scrub Veterinary 7.5% is an antiseptic, microbial scrub that kills bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi, and yeasts. It is composed of 7.5% povidone iodine for pre-operative prepping of skin on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horses, and helps to reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection. Apply Scrub (1 cc is sufficient to cover an area of 20-30 square inches), develop lather, and scrub thoroughly for about five minutes. Rinse off using sterile gauze saturated with water.
