A novel treat for black tea lovers! From Anji County in Zeijong province, this is a lovely  and delicate Chinese black tea produced from the same cultivar as the renowned Anji Bai Cha green tea.  This tea bush, named Baiye (white leaf) #1 is unique for possessing a high amino acid content, which is responsible for a sweet brew and a calming effect that can nicely balance out the caffeine.  It yields a sweet, medium-bodied cup with flavors of caramel, raisin, malt, and cacao with mild hints of molasses and cedar.
