A unique, fruity black tea from the high mountain region of Taiwan. This variety is made from "Shan Cha," (Mountain Tea) a wild strain of tea plant indigenous to Taiwan. It is resistant to cultivation, so this prized tea can only be made from wild growing bushes. It's a fine oolong grower's take on black tea, so feel free to brew this similarly to how you would prepare an oolong. If you like Assam #8, try this tea for a richer, deeper body and flavor, and a tea that can be steeped up to 4 or 5 times. Truly a special treat for either an oolong or a black tea lover!
