Organic Kukicha

Kukicha, which means "twig tea," is comprised of stems, stalks, and twigs plucked during the dormant season, making it low in price as well as caffeine. The brew yields a full and textured brilliant yellow liquor, and has a remarkably sweet flavor while retaining that trademark Japanese vegetal quality. Ours is from the Shizuoka region of Japan.   The organic version steeps a bit lighter than our other Kukicha, so we do recommend steeping it comparatively stronger.
