Guatemala Aragon
For our next Guatemalan lot this season, we saved the Aragon to start the winter. This is our tenth year buying coffee from Aragon, it's such a delicious and structured coffee. Finca Aragon is situated right in the heart of Antigua, Guatemala. Alejandro Zelaya has owned the farm for ten years, and it's planted mostly with Bourbon and Caturra. In 2011, Alejandro took 10th place in the Cup of Excellence. This coffee shows a lot of sweet fruit characteristics: plum and rainier cherries, anchored with notes of walnut and nougat.
