The Sheva Berachot Candlesticks/Cups

Thisceremony is followed with washing one’s hands, after which bread is broken and ameal served. At the conclusion of the meal, grace is recited over a cup of wine andthe cup is set aside. A second cup of wine is poured and Sheva Brachot (“the seven blessings”) are recited. The first cup of wine is sanctified and the two cups are combined and are given to the bride and groom to drink from. A pair of silver cones with a hammered finish are adorned with three floral-motif legs reminiscent of the chupah (canopy). Sterling silver candleholders are supplied to fit into the conical cups, making this a multi-functional work. Each work is signed and numbered by the artist and is available in a limited edition. This piece is also available with a heart-leaf design.
