Holiday Binding: Miniature Book

Our Holiday Binding Miniature Book class is a long-standing end-of-year tradition at Kuro’s Workshop. In this class, students create a small-scale bound book that can be used as a Christmas tree ornament or enjoyed year-round as a fully functional miniature book. While the finished piece is compact, the process still emphasizes careful construction and attention to detail. Each year features a different binding structure, and this year’s version introduces a new approach while keeping the spirit of the class light and celebratory. This workshop is designed as a joyful way to close the year — focused, satisfying, and a little bit special. Students leave with a finished miniature book and the pleasure of having made something both charming and thoughtfully constructed.
