Albuca foetida *Curly-Q leaf tips*

Albuca foetida An attractive succulent bulb from South Africa long curly leaves.  The leaves have small hairs on them and are straight on the lower half and tightly curled at the tips. The stronger the light the more curly the leaves will be. The bulb forms new bulblets regularly. You can leave them together to make a big clump or separate them to make new plants. Flowers are yellow and produced in the spring.  Easy to grow.  It is a winter grower, which means it will grow from fall to spring and is completely dormant in the summer, meaning it dies back to the bulb. Water regularly (in succulent terms) from fall until spring, then cut back or stop all together in the summer.  It usually drops its leaves during the dormant period.  Protect from frost.
