Art Nouveau Hand Hammered and Hand Stenciled Copper Planter/Vase

This fantastic copper stenciled pot stands 7" tall, with an opening which is 5" wide at lip. The base diameter is 4.5" wide, with a slightly raised lip. It is very interesting to study the pot/vase up close, as the craftsman who created the pot styled one handle in a very traditional way, then when ready to make the second one, he must have discovered he was short of copper material, thus, he made the second handle completely different. The stamped design is very Art Nouveau in style, and required incredible patience. The copper patina makes the design blue green, which stands out in a lovely way. Th pot has seen many loving hands along the way, making it such a spacial piece.
