Japanese Torn Paper Art - Signed Chin-Colle - Beautiful Sun Flower Chin-Colle Paper Art by Japanese Student's Thank You gift

This listing is for an Original Japanese Torn Paper Art Picture. It was made using the chin-colle method/style of print making. The individual pieces of torn paper are glued to a piece of delicate paper, in a pattern desired by the artist, in this case a sunflower with leaves. This paper is dipped in water then run through a printing press, embedding the torn paper into the background. The resulting piece of art is stunning. The subject of this artwork, sunflowers and leaves, are very lifelike. The Artist's signature, Michiko Shiogawa, is on the back. This was found in an an estate, and according to the seller, was gifted by an exchange student, to her host in the 1980s. It would be beautiful framed. What a lovely way to say Thank You.
