Orrefors Crystal Glass Decanter

This is a lovely Crystal glass decanter made by Orrefors of Sweden. It does not look like it was ever used, which is not unusual for a decanter as they were a popular masculine gift which was often just displayed with other cut glass items. Unfortunately the beautiful stopper appears to have been dropped with the impact crating a tiny chip which reverberated into the surrounding glass, leaving a circle in the glass. The chip could be repaired to be almost invisible, but I think the circle will remain. Size: 11.25" tall w/ stopper x 10" tall w/o x 2.75" diameter bottom x 5" diameter at the widest Always remember, a decanter is to "decant and serve the alcohol", not ever, for storing alcoholic beverages, as that causes lead to leach into the liquid.
