Poplar Wood Boardwalk Soap Dish

Using a soap dish can significantly extend the life of your handcrafted soaps. It is also possible to extend the life of your natural wood soap dishes. To extend the life of your soap dish, use the soap dishes in pairs. Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second soap dish for 2-3 weeks while the first dish dries out and then alternate them. Allowing the soap dish to fully dry out will prevent mold and mildew and will prevent the wood from becoming waterlogged and rotting.
