This basic tool allows to test EWS (3, 3+, 4) and new key (transponder) after process of programming. Simply one should connect EWS module to the device, make a choice with switches (manual or automatic gearbox etc.) and press START button. If the key (transponder) is working properly with that EWS module you should hear sound of buzzer and a green LED light.
