Complimentary for Wine Club Members.   Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2011 - $11 The Sonoma Coast growing region begins at the Mendocino County border, continues along the western coastal edge of Sonoma County through the mouth of the Russian River Valley, and extends to the Los Carneros region on the southern Sonoma/Napa border. Similar to the Burgundy region of France, these vineyards offer an unusually long, cool and even growing season, where Chardonnay is beautifully aromatic, citrus-laced and layered.   Chardonnay Russian River Valley - $30 This wine is a true regional blend sourced from vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley. Given the overall cool conditions of this vintage, 2011 was the year for the relatively warmer vineyards near Chalk Hill to shine.
