Grown at 1,600 meters in the lush hills of Gaitania, Tolima, this Yellow Caturra microlot stands out for its vibrant character and natural processing. Picked at peak ripeness and fermented for 40 hours in grain pro bags, the cherries are then hand-sorted and dried on raised beds for a clean, fruit-forward profile. This lot offers a silky, coated mouthfeel with prune-like sweetness and a winey finish, showcasing the full potential of Yellow Caturra when grown with care and processed with intention. Behind the cup is Nelson, a second-generation grower with deep roots in Colombian coffee. With the help of his wife Reina, he farms El Edén using organic practices and recently built his own processing station to take quality even further. His dedication shines through in every sip.
