Why Get Tested? To assess your risk of developing cardiovascular disease When to Get Tested? No current consensus exists on when to get tested; hs-CRP is most often ordered in conjunction with other tests that are performed to assess risk of heart disease, such as alipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL-C, LDL-C). Sample Required? A blood sample drawn from a vein in your arm Test Preparation Needed?
