There are no specific plates which are recommended, and your application should be the primary determinant of what plate you use, but there are some plates which tend to work better than others.  Round-bottom plates generally provide a better homogenization than flat-bottom plates.  Polypropylene microplates are more resistant to damage than polystyrene plates.  Deep-well microplates tend to be less resistant to damage.  Regardless of what plate you use, we strongly recommend doing a "dry run" with a small volume of water and beads in a few wells in order to verify that the microplates will not crack or break during homogenization.   When homogenizing in microplates, should the microplates be sealed? Yes! Sealing mats provide the best seal and protection from leakage.
