Sweet scent of familiarity. Lilacs aren't inherently familiar I guess, but they spark the comfort lobe of my brain. I'm fully aware that the comfort lobe isn't a real thing, but I like the imagery. It's the part of the brain that stashes nostalgia, sentimentality, and- well... lilacs. 11"x14" Acrylic on paper coated with two layers of UV protective varnish. Comes in mat as shown with outer dimensions of 16"x20".
