She uses an array of mediums such as acrylic, oil pastels, ink, and watercolor to achieve contrast in pigment and texture. In her art you can find moments of playfulness, joy, content, sensuality, and curiosity. She finds much of her inspiration from being out and connecting with nature. She was exposed to the wonderful world of art from a young age, being born into a family full of creatives has inspired her self expression and exploration through art. Emery has lived across the country experiencing uniqueness in each place, starting in California and onward to Wisconsin, Florida, and Oklahoma, eventually making her way back to the sunny west coast in her young adult life, where she still resides.
