DETAILS: 40" x 30" x 1.5" Acrylic on Canvas Original Art Work 2021 Description: This painting was inspired by the Aboriginal beliefs about creation, which explains how things came to be: why a rock is in a certain place, why the moon returns full every month, even how kangaroos got their tails. The Dreaming is not static or linear. It is the past, the present, the future and is constantly evolving. ARTIST STATEMENT: Debbie Bzdyl In 2013, I sold my graphic design business and returned to fine art full-time. Since then my paintings have been in many juried art shows and won various awards. I’ve also had several solo shows and was a participant in the Greenville, South Carolina invitation-only show, Celebration of Women Artists. My paintings are in many public and private collections throughout the United States.
